Sussex Brain Bus.. Ways to Get Involved in Dementia Research

There are lots of ways to get involved in dementia research.

You can get involved directly by volunteering to be a participant in a dementia research study or help raise money to fund the research.

Research Participation

Ageing and Dementia Research in Psychology Participation (University of Sussex)
Take part in research at the University of Sussex. We need adults of all ages, both healthy individuals and individuals living with a dementia diagnosis, to get involved. As a research participant, you may be asked to contribute in lots of different ways - complete memory tasks whilst having your brain scanned, tell us more about your lifestyle and how it affects the way that you think, and even help test out new therapies!

Join Dementia Research Studies (NIHR)
Sign up to 'Join Dementia Research' to find out about opportunities to get involved in research across the country. Join Dementia Research provides a service matching volunteer participants to research studies across the country, encompassing research funded by government bodies and research charities such as Alzheimer's Research UK.
